But subtitles kill the mood as soon as they appear (unless they are relevant or placed there on purpose), while a plotless AMV may take longer for you to realize how pointless it is.
Not about the org itself. But when people get nitpicky on my videos while giving others better ratings even if they are not as well made simply because they are not familiar with my not so popular sources.
Oh yes. I am not particularly harsh. Although I may be harsher if a video uses overdone music or anime. Or if I do not like either one- but I still gave a good rating to the Lain video I reviewed.
Anyone have any details as to whether there will be an AMV contest at Anime South? It has been discussed on their boards, but I do not see any materialization of it.

To express an idea or concept that has come up in your mind. To put a story together using music and scenes from an anime or video game. To use your creativity and technical knowledge for a good purpose.

To make- romance, drama, sentimental. Most of the ones other people make in these genres are too sappy or feature couples or series or songs I dislike (prime example would be a Kenshin x Tomoe Samurai X video to a way too slow song).
