Re: The AMV Documentary

Have you given any thought to making a mini series as opposed to one long film? I think both formats have their merits, depending on what direction you want to go. A series can make it easier to break things up into different topics and ideas though.

Tao 3d programming language useful for AMV effects?

I just found out about this programming language that looks really cool called Tao 3d. http://youtu.be/Fvi29XAo4SI In this overview, you can see many simple examples of things like 3d text, voice synthesizer, cool motion graphics. The thing that caught my eye though is towards the end of the video, ...

Re: AMV Contests Becoming to Strict!

If you listen to a pop music channel on the radio, its difficult to go through more than 1 song without hea...

Re: AMV remixing?

With AMV Hell, we take all the videos from the project and then use them as source to make a full length amv for the credits sequence. It's always really awesome. I think the really cool aspect of it though is that watching the video not only brings back memories of all the individual videos, but it...

If you are talking about collaborators, the majority of contributors may or may not even have accounts here on the org, and if they do, I don't know their names here anyways. If anyone wants to be listed on it, send me a pm with your info.

Re: Call to Arms: AVTECH4

How sad is it that DVD is obsolete now and we still don't have any good and easy way of dealing with them. It was a mess of a format.

Re: Call to Arms: AVTECH4

It should just be a wiki or something.
Makes it a lot easier to keep updated too.

Re: Call to Arms: AVTECH4

Yea, and avisynth+ is looking pretty sweet now. Vaporsynth is conceptually a nice thing, but I don't see it getting to the point avisynth is for a LONG time.

Re: [AWA Pro 2013] Boxxed

I just downloaded this, probably the first AMV I have watched in a year or so.
Just wow. That's amazing. Makes me remember why I used to love AMVs to begin with.
Now I've gotta go and start checking out some more stuff I've missed.
