Re: Zarx264gui3 beta test

Oh yea, there is currently one fairly bit limitation: It does not work with Avisynth version 2.5.8.
If you upgrade to Avisynth 2.6.0 alpha version, it should work.
I have filed a bug report with ffmpeg to get this fixed.

Re: Text Animations

That's probably the easiest way if you only have a small amount of text. I don't believe Vegas offers any complex text animation options, but I could be wrong. After Effects does have a powerful text animation engine which could do this for you, but if there isn't a standard preset already designed ...

As far as audio quality, the quicktime encoder is far superior, but maybe the difference is only something an audiophile can tell the difference between. If you are concerned use a higher q...

Re: AMV Hell 6: The End of the Universe 2012

Since SSG never finished it, I am taking over to complete it. The AWA version is posted online temporarily as a preview. And I am now taking new submissions through the end of January.

Re: Issues with downloaded footage?

It used to be that downloaded footage was typically poorer quality than what you could get off the dvds or whatever. Sadly this is no longer always the case. So yea, at this point its mostly just a "its piracy" thing.

Re: What's universal in Japanese animation and comics?

I completely see where you are coming from. When I went to Japan it also totally changed my perception of anime. Within my first hours of arrival, suddenly tons of anime scenes were rushing through my head. There were so many different things that I had always accepted as "that's just how anime...
