Re: Anime North 2013 Music Video Competition Rules

Some really fun entries this year. Going to try to track them down from memory now. Hopefully the results will be posted online soon in case I can't find them. I especially liked the Redline Panama video and the creepy Madoka video (especially since it was Birthday Massacre). Would have loved to hav...

Re: Mindless Self Indulgence 2 MEP [15 Open Slots]

Been a while since I've done an MEP, but this seems right up my alley.

I'd like to claim Pay for It, my favorite track of If.

Was trying to decide between NHK and Chaos Head, but seems like that's an easy decision now that I've finished reading the thread.

Best Anime Villains?

Looking for sources for my next video in which I'd like your opinions on who some of the best anime and video game villains are? I've haven't been keeping up with anime for a while so are there any truly "love to hate" kinda bad guys we've seen in the last couple years? Classics are also g...

RoboBoogie, premiered Anime North 2011

Hey all,

I've been away from AMVs for a couple years, but managed to finish my latest video which received a great reaction at AN this past weekend. Looking forward to catch up on everything I've been missing and reconnecting to the org.

Hope you enjoy it.

Lain (Ep 2 I think) has some short scenes in a club, pretty dark for the show, but you could easily use them for fun in an amv.

In all seriousness, if anyone is trying to get a legitimate balanced contest off the ground and needs, judges, send me a PM. I'd gladly judge it or help out in any way. I'm very opinionated and judgmental but I'm also very GOOD, so it will balance out  I was at Anime North this year and in the ...

I hear what you're saying. In a contest like this it's most likely to go the the person who has the most dedicated friends, or just uses the most popular anime. As for the prize, the anime isn't really even an incintive for me. I have most of the series that I really want in that collection so even ...

I would try a combination of 3d layers and a camera in After Effects. Right clicking on each layer and you can choose 3d layer, then you can rotate, position and scale on the z-axis, using keyframes you should easily be able to make a character throw something that hits the camera. Probably be some ...
