Re: Zankyou no Terror

This animation is something else man. The flashback scene of them playing hide and seek was phenomenal. It had some really cool Shinsekai Yori vibes going on.

Re: Akame ga Kill!

Enjoying everything about this anime! White Fox did not disappoint. This show solidified the fact that I'll be checking out every new anime from this studio.

Re: Tokyo Ghoul

Great show. Though the censoring (which has been said time and time again online) is reeeeeeeally annoying. They don't even try to be discreet or creative with it.

Re: Zankyou no Terror

AOTS for me so far. The feeling this anime gives me has only been achieved through manga in the past few years.

Re: Ao Haru Ride

Very happy this got an adaptation. So far there's nothing bad, except for all the petty high school drama in the beginning (which is expected) that I didn't really notice, or maybe blocked out, when I was reading. That OP animation is awesome though.

Re: Barakamon

This show is not disappointing at all. It's actually better than I expected it to be. Glasses girl in episode 3 was Nichijou levels of hilarity!

Re: Summer 2014 anime chart

Tokyo Ghoul was the tits. Picking this one up for sure. I read the first 2 or 3 chapters after watching it and they changed (or removed, or rearranged) quite a bit, but every scene they removed didn't harm the plot too much.

Re: Summer 2014 anime chart

Gonna watch these ones for sure: Aldnoah.Zero - heard a lot about this over the past few months and the staff is real good. Ao Haru Ride - One of my favorite shoujo manga, it's pretty surprising that it took this long to get an adaptation. Barakamon - Read the manga a while back and I loved it. I'm ...

Re: Rap AMV's

I don't care what kind of music is used as long as it's a good video.

Re: Spring 2014 anime chart

Most definitely Haikyuu. Might give some others a try but I haven't caught up with anime in a while so I'll probably finish last season's backlog first.

Re: Favorite editors and influences

Ileia is my favorite. She always has consistent vids with great internal synch and lots of well thought out and clever concepts. There are a lot of shallow vids out there that have been done over and over again, and she avoids that and thinks outside the box. A majority of my favorite vids have been...
