Re: Aliasing lines

That probably sounds like a better idea, what do you recommend me though, should I convert my episodes from AVI to MP4 or should I recontain them, since the file size of each episode is around 30GB after re-rendering them from VirtualDub I figured that recontaining them might keep the same file size...

Re: Aliasing lines

Lol maybe I sound too confusing, the first two set of images are non-rendered episodes in MKV container which I opened on AviSynth+, then as I was watching the preview I snapped a photo with and without the codings and with the coding it looks far more better, then the last two set of images are the...

Re: Aliasing lines

No, I didn't clean the episode up, I used the same episodes as it is (recontained) in Sony Vegas and rendered it in AVI. After putting in these codings, I didn't notice a huge difference of quality improvement as I noticed while just using the MKV episodes in AviSynth. So for example I render out my...

Re: Aliasing lines

Alright, so I was able to open up the rendered AVI file onto AviSynth by rendering it into Lagarith, I was not quite happy with the result I saw after putting in the scripting on AviSynth, after using the rendered video in Sony Vegas, however when I apply these same effects onto the episodes itself,...

Re: Aliasing lines

Alright so I just rendered a test file on Vegas to see if I can open it on AviSynth, used AVI to render my test video in and this is the problem AviSynth gave me "mt_average : unsupported colorspace. masktools only support planar YUV colorspaces (YV12, YV16, YV24)" and then plugins won't l...

Re: Aliasing lines

Nevermind, I managed to make it work. Thank you for all your time, what other tweaks should I add into these episodes? I added in DAA twice, should I do anything else to make it more better? Also, I was thinking that doing this process with each episode might be too long (If it re-renders the entire...

Re: Aliasing lines

Awesome, I was able to open up all the programs and do a little bit of scripting in the software. I'm having an issue though, when I try to load the .avs file on VirtualDub it doesn't open up. The problem is as it follows "Unable to open file path:\path\path\path\videproject.avs" I tried r...

Re: Aliasing lines

Also, I viewed this page too http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... l#aliasing

It seems very good, I noticed the differences it can make and I'd love my footage to look like this too, as soon as that is done I'd be super happy.

Re: Aliasing lines

Your explanations are very helpful and I would like to take a moment to thank you for all the help you've provided so far, unfortunately I've only gotten confused after time; I did install the AMVpack and I believe I have got all the tools I need but I'm very sorry this is my very first time trying ...

Re: Aliasing lines

It's DVD ripped, as far as I think the person who ripped it into MKV used HandBrake tool. I did not personally rip these episodes from the DVD. Also, I've used the re-containing method to bring these footage to MP4 format, even in the MKV file I can notice these lines. Do you think it can be fixed u...

Re: Aliasing lines

When the visual is panning at the bottom or top, or when the episode zooms into a character, I can see visible jag lines around the character draw-lines. I'm sure it has to do something with the aliasing. I'll provide with some images, from a couple of episodes. http://oi67.tinypic.com/2a92wk8.jpg I...

Re: BEST Lossless MKV converter?

Sorry for being a little confusing, I actually re-contained it, using the FFMpeg tool you have had in your blog, the file size is similar to the one in MKV and same with total bit-rate too; the quality looks very great and I think none of the quality was drained since you have also said that contain...
