I've been searching and searching for some sort of software that will help me to rip and convert video footage FMVs from a PS2 game. But so far I haven't had any luck with it, I'd really like to know if anyone has any suggestions or otherwise to point me in the right direction, I need to grab these ...
Even so, your imput helped me a lot more than the previous person's snap about using FlasKMPEG when I didn't (at the time) know any better programs. My attempt to begin creating videos is one that has been long and tedious, I consult and look for answers from -everyone- I can think of, to make sure ...
Nevermind. I'm a complete dunce. I just looked over the information you gave me again and stared at it for a good while, then looked in the AMVApp directory and found all the programs I'd need right there...
Errr. My name is Kitsune, and I'm half asleep. X_X gomen nasai Sempai.
So Basically, installing AMVApp with it's plugin mod is all I really have to do in order to have the MPEG2DEC.dll installed? I've installed AMVApp and it's plugin already, but I think I have to look into more detail on how to apply the MPEG2DEC.dll.
Thanks a ton for this info. It helped me a lot. I've hence gotten rid of FlasKMPEG and moved into AVISynth, but I still have a problem, I have no idea how to install the MPEG2DEC.dll plugin into it. I've been looking for information on where exactly I'm supposed to put it, but I haven't come up with...
In case you haven't noticed, I'm EXTREMELY NEW to the BBS, I haven't had TIME to search for and read all the guides. Further more, Editing with the type of video format I have, is one of the ONLY options I've got, the type of video editors I use are particularly picky about what formats are edited i...
For some reason, (and this just started recently) FlasK MPEG (My DVD footage converter) has begun to state that there's a problem with converting my DVD movie footage, something about the data stream being too small. It's done fine in the past up until now, I don't know if it's the DVD footage or no...
If and when I can afford it I'll do that in case of emergencies. But given that my computer seems to be quite content with the new settings o-O I think I'll be ok. But thanks for the info ^^;
Changing the tower wont help anything if the problem is a resource conflict. Changing the tower DID help. It gave me actual ROOM to add in the secondary drive. I only had ONE bay open for a DVD/CD-ROM drive, I needed two. So I bought a new tower with 2 extra bays for my HDs and my CD-RW and DVD-ROM...
Actually, for 50 bucks I got a new tower for the old computer, put the entire computer together (it took me about five or six hours) and got it up and running no problem. (except the power button is now 'reset' ^^;;;;;; The power supply's fan is larger and can cool my MB a lot faster than what it wa...
Better yet, can someone tell me if it would be ok just to change out my computer's OLD tower for a new one that will allow me to install the burner AND the DVD rom? At current my computer's tower has only 1 CD-ROM drive open to be used, it has space for a zip drive near the 1 USB port, the 1.4 A Dri...
My computer sucks, I'll leave it at that. In order to read DVD style CDs on my computer I have to take it apart, install the DVD-ROM, and run the program, but there's another problem with that. When I do do that, my computer can't recognize my D: Hard Drive, the HD I use to store my video footage fo...
