Re: That glorious moment when you finish a hard mask

Re: That glorious moment when you finish a hard mask

Re: AKROSS Con 2014

See people....right there.... my video undoubtedly displayed the best use of technical work in AMVs, ever, yet my work won't be titled as such by others. *sigh*.... but yeah, as long as in our minds we are all aware that Enigmo is the lord and saviour of this world, all is fine--that's the most impo...

Re: Want Suggestions For Rarely Used Songs.

lol why is it that big of a deal? edit whatever you like. as far as i'm concerned, even if what you create already exists, if you have no knowledge of it and do not make a single conscious reference to an existing version, then whatever you create is original. also, it's pointless to try and make &q...

Re: Editing is a slow process these days....

this is exactly the case. it's become so slow that i've contemplated going back to my old methods of using others' Windows Movie Maker AMVs as source material for my edits

Re: Wordless Anime Openings

lol, the rules don't care about how legal you yourself are and what effects your country's laws have on you. they care about how legal/illegal you're making the site...if you post illegal content here, it makes the site that much more illegal, and the laws that apply will be wherever the site is bas...

Re: Do cons even care about violence at this point?

well bro, considering my Creepy Crawl AMV was allowed for the Russian Free Zone contest, maybe high violence is accepted--idk how significant it being Russian was in terms of accepting the violence. the original version did get rejected, but that was for nudity, so i just went and covered the b00bie...

Re: Wordless Anime Openings

Aside from the recommendation of manual removal being ridiculous, if you have to do it using then content aware fill would make life much easier than actually painting over them manually I personally would not recommend content aware fill for anime openings... It might be all good for backgrounds t...

Re: Wordless Anime Openings

Here's an example I just done now for you in like 2 minutes http://i.imgur.com/8Z2iH05.png As you can see, there are patches etc which could be avoided with more time being spent on getting the colours correct. But considering the scenes from openings you are likely to use will be quite dynamic (i'm...

Re: Wordless Anime Openings

the only way to edit out the credits (in 99% of cases) is to pull a nostromo and do frame-by-frame image editing (preferably on photoshop)
