Re: how to make this effect in sony vegas

Eake4 wrote:Why would you want to use that...

for reference anyway its a grunge called the matrixdata. not an effect.

Grunge? But uhm, well, it's not really that bad if it's used correctly. Most people just use it badly :|

Re: Smooth zoom transitions [Sony Vegas]

Not just the matching and stuff, your zooms need to be quick as well. I usually don't let my really dynamic zooms last longer than 3 keyframes.

Re: Ideas for effects for "slow" parts?

Slow pans/zooms that go in one motion. So the first scene might have a slow zoom out, and then the next will have a slow pan to the left... something like that.

Re: VirtualDubMod Error Decompressing Avisynth Sript

DSS uses your system codecs so you probably /did/ break something there. It's also super unreliable so better not to use it, same for vdubmod. Well, it's not just DDS. I also tried ffvideosource and ffmpegsource2 but they didn't work either. But yeah, everything works as normal with VirtualDub... b...

VirtualDubMod Error Decompressing Avisynth Sript

Hi, today for some reason my VirtualDubMod doesn't allow me to view my Avisynth scripts in it. What I did was uninstall all my codec packs and then reinstall them. Along the way I must have done the settings differently which resulted in me getting the error: 'Error decompressing video frame 0: The ...

Re: DBZ Clean up

I like this assumption that bluray makes it HD. protip, it doesn't. Late response, but, how does it not? Bluray is a disk format that supports bitrates necessary for HD, but that in no way means the source or produced material is HD. For example, I have a test disk I made using AVCHD that is a TAS ...

Re: Bugging me for a while so here it is

+if I might add there's a better one https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=ZnKRdp4bKPA#t=33s just pay attention when you zoom in and out, works better when both spots are "kinda" alike...and preferably a bit darker...I personally think without cross/fades looks way...

Re: Bugging me for a while so here it is

To be honest, I'd probably avoid that kind of stuff. I personally just find it to be too forceful of a transition. But that's just how I look at it, I usually don't do any sort of panning transitions within video sources nowadays. And, you can do this easily on Vegas and AE. With Vegas, crossfade the...

Re: 3D Motion Effect on Still Images?

Well yeah, as others have said it looks like simple masking and transforming. You can move certain limbs using the puppet tool in AE, but that can go wrong and is slightly more complex; I wouldn't use it unless I know how to fully control it. But yeah, say you had a render/mask of a character, you w...
