Re: Skrillex, don't be hatin' yo XP

No. What I'm saying is Skrillex is a music producer. And quite frankly, he's actually a really good one in that. But there's a difference between producers, songwriters, mixers, and composers. What a music artist in the industry would do is work with song writers and they would provide ideas for the...

Re: Skrillex, don't be hatin' yo XP

Let me put it this way. I was at a party one night on top of the AT&T Center in downtown LA and Sonny was there along with other celebrities including Nick Swardson, Richard Ayoade, and Djimon Honsou. He was also performing that night too, but he wasn't actually "performing" per se. Hi...

Re: Kickstarter

Oh Kickstarter! I love causes and communities like this. Honestly, as much as I work for the industry, Hollywood really does need to stop making films. Way too much money is circulated in the industry and way too many hard working people in the industry are being screwed over for the interests of fi...

Re: Oscar Ballot PREDICTIONS 2013

This ceremony is literally walking distance from my apartment on Hollywood Blvd at the Dolby Theater and every year traffic is congested for hours. Anyways, I'm going to voice what I would like to win rather than what I think would win. BEST PICTURE Would've chosen The Master actually....

Re: The Vent Thread

Code. Sounds like exactly what I'm going through right now actually. Previous job, I adored the people whom I worked with and my boss I considered my mentor and father in-law. I was also wearing many hats and I was doing something that I loved doing, which was directing, writing, producing, post...

Re: Little Things You Hate

Helicopters that wake you up and circle your neighborhood for 1 hour at 2 am. It's not that I have a problem with the police doing their duty and protecting the community 24/7. It's too bad securing public safety can seldom be done in a quiet manner. :(

Re: Evangelion

New Update! And brand new theatrical trailer! I have to say this brand new one shows a lot compared to what we've been seeing in the past. I can safely say that there are two things that I am now very excited for in the month of November. Episode 5 of Tell Tale's The Walking Dead and this movie. :D ...

Re: Little Things You Hate

When you're driving and having to wait for someone who J walks the street. Look, I understand that you're a pedestrian and that I'm supposed to yield to you while you cross the street. But cross the damn street please! Don't hold up an entire line of traffic just simply because you feel like abusing...

Re: NaNoWriMo and you! Let's write during November!

I'm down with doing this. Been meaning to start writing a screenplay for an idea that I had. While I can't guarantee I'll have a draft finished anytime soon, due to my 12-16 hour work schedule :( , at least it'll motivate me to get started.

Re: Evangelion

New Evangelion 3.0 update. With the release of the movie exactly 1 month away now, looks like a new trailer is now amongst us. During a “Zero” countdown to a Nicovideo site campaign, there was some hints at an Evangelion collaboration. With some Evangelion styled timer count-downs, we really didn’t ...

Re: #AMV-Review #56: SarahtheBoring's "All the Sights I've S

If I may voice my opinion on when to hold #AMV-Review. Monday's are a pretty bad time for a lot of people due to people working full-time and school. While I myself am not promising that I can make the review, weekends do allow a little more flexibility for most. Just throwing in my two cents is all...

Re: #AMV-Review #56: SarahtheBoring's "All the Sights I've S

It's a nice video. The style is how a lot of old school AMVs used to feel like by sticking to simplicity, character profiling, juxtaposition of the visuals with the music, and simple editing techniques which I personally like. I guess my only critique, is that I wasn't too sure what the AMV was abou...
