This is my entry for Project OrgEditor Round 1. The four elements were the theme, so I chose air/wind. As a result, this AMV blows. I used one of the Aoi Bungaku stories mainly because I love those two episodes and always wanted to use them in an AMV. I am now an accomplished man. Tha music is from the game Bastion. Go play it, it is awesome. So is the sounftrack. Go buy it. Now.

Yes. I know. I'm not dead. Wow... 8D... Lol. So, I've seen the new Kenshin OVA yesterday and well... as some of you might expect... this happened. =3=; I am quite pleased with how they handled it, though I wish it were a bit longer... (I really don't see the point in cutting the OVA into two parts.. o_e;) But otherwise, Kenshin is so adorable in it... =w= I did this today and it was done rather quick, so don't expect much of it, really - mostly at the end since I started to lack footage there. But don't worry, even though most of you all think I'm dead, I'm not actually! I do edit from time to time - I just need to find the courage to finish them, that's all. X'D I'll do a more prettier RK AMV once the second OVA is out. In the meantime, enjoy! For Mayu. "'Never Enough' is a song about friendship, sisterhood, and the perils of loving someone that takes more than they could ever give" - Michael Runion What should I say? I guess the biggest inspiration for this video, as you may guess, was the song itself. The moment I heard it for the first time, I had already fallen in love with it. Watching the original music video along to it, was moving, heartbreaking, and yet so inspiring. I immediately had to think of NANA. There are some scenes that are so strikingly similar in the 'Never Enough' music video and the Anime, that it is almost surreal. There were many times while I was editing this, where I was thinking: 'That can't be, this is a too perfect match.' I had a lot of fun working on this, yet it was also quite stressful, due to me having to work 50 hour weeks for the past month. I struggled hard to finish it in time, and still having it the way I wanted it to be, and I think it was worth it in the end. I really wanted to touch people's heart with this video, as well as let some of my own experience flow into it. Nana's and Hachi's friendship is so strong, and yet it is never enough. It's an endless cycle of loving and hurting, when in fact all you want to do, is be close to that person. And that, I think, is something very tragic, and worth every second of thought and time put into. I hope you'll take something with you of this video. Hold your friends close, and never forget they will be the ones walking though life with you. Share your feelings. Don't be afraid to make the first step to apologize. Life is too short to let things come between you. Enjoy, and thanks for watching! ~~~~~~~ As a side note, in the song, I absolutely love the tiny changes in the chorus. In the beginning it's always 'It was never enough, never enough.' Later on it changes to 'You were never enough' and in the end, probably the most heartbreaking, it concludes to 'We were never enough.' OH GOD, I COULD BAWL WITH THIS SONG, JJAMZ IS SO AMAZING! Oh, and by the way, the blonde short haired girl (that represents Nana in the video) is the singer of the song. :D Her name is Z (Elisabeth). ~~~~~~ Now, that's enough, all information is in the video. :) Intro song is from the Nana OST and is called Koi Suru Hachi.

picture This is my entry for the first round of 'The Quickening". Dubstep really is not my thing so it was quite challenging. Just after hearing the song I thought Bakemonogatari is the best source I can think of for this kind of AMV. And now! it is not completely random! Shinobu is the boss and she's better than the rest :D I actually spent 4 days on it, not the whole week. I got back home one day after the round has started and then I needed 2 days to study for school at the end. It's kinda repetitive (that was actually a part of my 'concept' but it didn't turn out as I wanted it to) and not original/interesting but still I'm glad with the outcome ;) Thanks to my quick beta-testers: Milk or Life, Peggy and Frezio. Even if I won't make it to the 2nd round I'd be quite proud of this one :D Announcement thread

Here is my Round 1 Entry for "The Quickening" I hope you guys enjoy. I came across a few technical issues during editing that weren't there when I started. I had a HDD crash while editing and for some reason my video came out with some kinda interlacing that for some reason couldn't be fixed. Thank god it's barely noticeable. It's not throughout the whole vid so it doesn't detract from the video. Anywho, I was mainly going for a story being told through a concert performance. The journey of the chaacters and such. Anywho, enjoy guys.
